Where are all the fresh coins?

I probably heard that comment a dozen times today while cruising the floor today. Gold prices made an incredible run in the last few years and the result was quite a bit of new merchandise entering the market. For the last few months however gold has settled into a rather tight trading range. It will probably take a break out of metal prices to new highs to bring some new coins into the shops.

Activity in general was brisk today for nice coins. Nearly every table had at a few buyers parked in front of the cases. Most with want lists remain frustrated however. Now, even some marginal coins are selling, to fill customer orders.

Hopefully something will happen soon to stimulate added interest to market. Speculation is running rampant about the upcoming PCGS announcement at the end of the month. Maybe PGCS will come up with something that will be a game changer. Until then, have you seen anything fresh?
