The Whitman Coin & Collectibles Baltimore Expo is free and open to the public Thursday-Sunday, November 12-15. The hours are 2pm-6pm, Thursday; 10am-6pm, Friday and Saturday; 10am-3pm, Sunday. “As the price of gold and silver has risen, we’ve had more and more people ask how they can determine the value of their family coins or currency. If you have old coins in the attic, or in a collection your parents or grandparents may have kept, bring them to the Expo and learn more about them. With 1,000 dealers in 400 booths, you can find quite a market for anything of value. And it won’t cost you a dime to get in,” he said. But Mr. Crenshaw also has one note of warning. “Just be careful. Once you’ve discovered the excitement of coin collecting, of holding history in your hands, you might get hooked,” he said. Click here for FREE online registration to the Expo.
