Robert L. Rodriguez

Robert L. Rodriguez is an investor, author, and accomplished numismatist whose collecting interests span early American coinage, colonial issues, ancient coins, and medals. Following a distinguished career in investment management, he served as Chief Executive Officer of First Pacific Advisors (FPA), helping grow the firm into one of the nation’s leading independent investment management companies. Rodriguez is a Fellow and Trustee of the American Numismatic Society, where he endowed the Resolute Americana Chair of American Numismatics in 2022 to support research across the numismatic history of the Americas. He is also a member of the American Numismatic Association, Colonial Coin Collectors Club, Early American Coppers, Medal Collectors of America, U.S. Mexican Numismatic Association, and several other leading numismatic organizations. His Resolute Americana Collection includes one of the finest collections of Continental Dollars ever assembled, reflecting a lifelong passion for America’s earliest coinage. A dedicated advocate for numismatic education, Rodriguez regularly shares his collection to promote a deeper appreciation of American history and the nation’s numismatic heritage.
