This once-in- a-century book by author Andrew Maraniss includes a foreword by Vanderbilt athletic director Candice Lee on why Vanderbilt Stadium is hallowed ground. Commodores head coach Clark Lea pens a reflection on what Vanderbilt Stadium meant to him as a young boy and as a student-athlete playing in the stadium, and what it means to him to lead the Vanderbilt program in this historic venue.
