Inspirations in Life is a book of poetry inspired by God and his presence in the life of Kerry Stevenson.  "I've been affected by a number of life's lessons," says Stevenson.  "God has helped me to use situations involving circumstances in my life to help motivate, influence, and inspire others through the wisdom He has given me.  I pray that you can connect to at least one piece as you read this spirit-filled book of poetry and that you use these words of inspirations to influence, encourage and be a blessing to others as I aim to serve you through God's influence in my life."  

Kerry Stevenson boasts two decades of professional experience as an author and educator.  Since 2021, he has excelled as an intervention specialist and mathematics instructor at Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama.  Furthermore, he places a keen focus on athletics and physical fitness, serving as the vice president of development for athletics programs and scholarships at the college.  Mr. Stevenson previously served as the director of player development for football at the University of Tennessee between 2019 and 2021 and at the University of Alabama from 2013 to 2019.

Mr. Stevenson originally began his career in 2003, working as a mathematics teacher and head football coach for Vigor High School in Prichard, Alabama, until 2013.  In his creative endeavors, he has cultivated a wealth of success as an author and motivational speaker.  Mr. Stevenson published his most recent book in 2018, titled "Inspirations in Life".  The book was published through Whitman Publishing.

Prior to embarking on his vocational journey, Mr. Stevenson pursued a formal education at the Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.  After earning a Bachelor of Education in mathematics, magna cum laude, he subsequently achieved a Master of Education in mathematics in 1993.  In addition to his academic credentials, Mr. Stevenson also received a certificate in educational leadership and administration from Samford University in 1999.

Well-regarded for his accomplishments in the field, Mr. Stevenson was honored as Teacher of the Year on two occasions and a Champion of Life Award.  In light of his fulfilling career, he has largely attributed his success to his passion for helping others and his ability to create positive relationships.  In accounting for his achievements, he is especially proud to be able to motivate others and leave a lasting impact in their lives.  In the coming years, Mr. Stevenson looks forward to publishing another book.
